Sean Aalai

Since she began her residential real estate career in 2000, she’s been ranked among the top Realtors nationwide. The foundation of her thriving practice is her substantive knowledge about the D.C. and the complexities of real estate transactions, and her high level of service to every client, including sellers, buyers, and alike.
Before joining Compass, Kathleen founded her own successful brokerage, Towne Residential. In moving her group to Compass, she saw the opportunity to focus more of her energy on the parts of the job she loves the most—providing personal attention and careful guidance to each client. Before she entered the residential real estate field, Kathleen was the Director of National for Core Location, a Bethesda-based real estate development company. She holds a B.A. in business administration and a B.S. in information systems management from the University of Maryland. In addition to her real estate work, Kathleen is a managing director in Cityscape Development, a D.C.-based residential real estate development company.
Over the years, Kathleen has called many of the District’s neighborhoods home. She currently resides in a 1930s colonial in Crestwood with her husband, two daughters, and dog Foxy. In her spare time Kathleen enjoys Pilates and yoga, travel, and skiing.

Jeff moved Washington from his native Boston, MA in 2012.
