Sean Aalai

Sean started his career in real estate in 2010, after a decade working as an account executive for two major DC-based publishers of building industry magazines. His past experience allowed him to gain expertise in the residential construction industry, and he soon became a top producing agent at Compass where his volume earned him the title of Vice President.

Sean grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, and attended the University of Maryland in College Park. Since she began her residential real estate career in 2000, she’s been ranked among the top Realtors nationwide. The foundation of her thriving practice is her substantive knowledge about the D.C. and the complexities of real estate transactions, and her high level of service to every client, including sellers, buyers, and alike.
Before joining Compass, Kathleen founded her own successful brokerage, Towne Residential. In moving her group to Compass, she saw the opportunity to focus more of her energy on the parts of the job she loves the most—providing personal attention and careful guidance to each client. Before she entered the residential real estate field, Kathleen was the Director of National for Core Location, a Bethesda-based real estate development company. She holds a B.A. in business administration and a B.S. in information systems management from the University of Maryland. In addition to her real estate work, Kathleen is a managing director in Cityscape Development, a D.C.-based residential real estate development company.
Over the years, Kathleen has called many of the District’s neighborhoods home. She currently resides in a 1930s colonial in Crestwood with her husband, two daughters, and dog Foxy. In her spare time Kathleen enjoys Pilates and yoga, travel, and skiing.
Kelly Virbickas

Jeff moved Washington from his native Boston, MA in 2012. In addition to working with the CityScape Group as an agent, he also serves as the managing member of a DC-based residential real estate firm. Jeff brings knowledge experience from a seat at the table of a real estate transaction being an agent, developer, and homeowner himself the Bloomingdale neighborhood of DC.
After graduating from Boston College with a B.A. in political science, Jeff joined a Boston-based company as a project manager specializing in residential renovations, particularly income producing properties.
